Complete development of a haptic feedback bracelet, covering electronics, firmware, iOS software, enclosure design and functional prototyping.
The brief
The project required a wearable device capable of delivering controlled haptic feedback in a compact bracelet form. Denotec worked across the complete product development process, from gathering requirements and designing the electronics through to firmware, iOS software and physical prototyping.
The constraint
The electronics, software and mechanical design all had to work within a compact wearable form factor. The system also needed reliable communication between the bracelet and iOS device while providing consistent haptic feedback during operation.
Our approach
Denotec developed the schematic and PCB alongside the embedded firmware and iOS application. The enclosure was designed around the electronics and wearable requirements, with prototypes produced to validate the mechanical design and bring the complete system together.
The outcome
A functional prototype was developed spanning the electronics, firmware, iOS application and enclosure. The integrated system demonstrated the complete product concept and provided a foundation for further development.
