The brief
The project required embedded firmware for a datalogger used to monitor a dental fabrication process. Denotec developed the software responsible for collecting and managing data from the monitoring hardware during operation.
The constraint
The firmware needed to reliably capture process data while operating alongside the existing hardware. Data collection had to be consistent and robust so that the recorded information could be used to understand and analyse the fabrication process.
Our approach
Denotec developed the embedded firmware around the requirements of the monitoring system, implementing the data acquisition and logging functionality required by the application. The software was tested against the hardware to ensure reliable operation during the fabrication process.
The outcome
The completed firmware provided a functional data logging system for monitoring the dental fabrication process. The resulting device could capture operational information during use, providing data that could be reviewed as part of the wider manufacturing process.
